Air Horseshoe

In May 2007, Horseshoe Bay Resort launched Air Horseshoe, a private charter jet service for anyone interested in departing from or arriving at the Horseshoe Bay Resort Airport and Jet Center. Air Horseshoe provides a convenient Austin-area alternative to commercial air travel. Customers may charter a 30-passenger jet with Air Horseshoe to or from any location in the Continental United States that possesses a runway at least 5,000 feet in length.

Air Horseshoe Jets

The Air Horseshoe aircraft is the Fairchild-Dornier 328 jet. Launching the charter jet service program are two 30-passenger executive shuttle jets as well as one Dornier 328 aircraft with a 12-passenger elite executive configuration featuring personal LCD screens, rotating over-sized leather chairs, an expanded lavatory, a luxurious galley and a large pressurized luggage compartment allowing travelers easy access to luggage from inside the cabin.

The Fairchild-Dornier 328 jet was first introduced in 1999 and is the product of German and American engineering. Easily recognized by its high wing and twin wing mounted engines with a swept T-tail, the jet cruises at 460 mph and has a range of 1100 nautical miles.

Private Charter Information

Air Horseshoe is a booking agent using aircraft operated by Vision Airlines of Las Vegas.
All flights operate as charter flights operated by Vision Airlines, an FAA-certified charter operator.
All Air Horseshoe private charter packages include in-flight service as well as complimentary snacks and beverages.
All Charter participants must check-in with a representative or a flight attendant no later than 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. All passengers must check-in with a passport or driver's license.
Vision Airlines allows each passenger one carry-on (a purse, briefcase or laptop) and one checked bag (normal-sized suitcase weighing less than 50 pounds, not to exceed 62 inches in overall dimension) per flight.
All Air Horseshoe packages include transportation to and from the Resort Airport and Jet Center and all Horseshoe Bay Resort amenities.
